This blog post covering business excuses for not getting a new business started comes as a result of a reader’s question about the timing for a star-tup.
We have analysed the business excuses that people make for not launching their new venture and have reduced it to five basic areas. Check the list below and make sure that you are not in any of the categories!
1-My family is not supportive of my new venture. It’s just the wrong time.
We hear this excuse most often but when we ask how things can change there is never a good answer and there is naturally never a right time.
2-I want to be self-employed, but my paycheck is more important.
This excuse tends us to believe that the individual is definitely not a true entrepreneur.
3-I don’t have the financial resources.
We have covered this aspect and even how to start a business with no capital or no cash and so it is rather a lame excuse.
4-I want to be an entrepreneur but don’t have any direction.
This might be a contradiction in terms because if you are an entrepreneur then you surely have business ideas, dreams and ambitions and you will certainly know where you want to go.
5-I’m just too busy.
Everybody is busy and everybody has the same amount of time available to them. Entrepreneurs are individuals that use that time productively and make things happen.
If you are serious about self-employment and starting your own business then get started on the planning, the timing and the direction, the time for these things is now – entrepreneurs are not individuals that put these tasks off until tomorrow.
Get the plan started and check out resources we make available for you to launch your business and your dream today.
