It’s a fact the new year 2021 is almost here just a few days/weeks away.
We talked in our communication with our readers at this time last year about their hopes, dreams, and ambitions for the year 2020 and getting their thoughts in line to start a new business.
It was gratifying to hear that many entrepreneurs ‘took the plunge’ and turned their dream into reality. In many cases, it was sadly short-lived as COVID 19 arrived on the scene early in the year. This naturally created a setback for virtually every business – again it is gratifying to know that many of those entrepreneurial ventures restructured, re-engineered, and regenerated sometimes in a completely different form to continue their growth dream.
This ability to ‘think and act on the fly’ is an incredibly valuable asset that entrepreneurs possess. The ability to deal with current circumstances which quite often do not fit into the established plan is quite often the margin between great success and only moderate success.
Being able to change direction in mid-course is often only possible because the business owner has structured a well-crafted business plan that they are monitoring on a month by month basis and so as small aspects start to deviate from the plan the business owner is quickly able to or adapt as the case may be. As we have said many times in our messages working without a plan is almost certainly a blueprint for failure.
